GTAG Men’s Ministry Recap | April 19, 2026"Integrity at Work"

On Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM, the men of GTAG gathered at GTAG Church to continue our journey through Kyle Idleman’s Not a Fan series. This week we tackled Episode 3: "Integrity at Work. "The Big Idea

Idleman challenged us with a simple question: Are you a fan or a follower when no one’s watching? At work, it’s easy to cut corners when the boss is away, take credit that isn’t ours, or stay silent when something’s not right. But Jesus calls followers to a different standard — one where our faith and our work aren’t two separate lives. Key Takeaways from Our Discussion: Integrity = Wholeness The word “integrity” comes from integer — meaning whole, undivided. A follower of Jesus doesn’t have a “church version” and a “work version.” He’s the same guy Monday through Sunday. Small Things Matter We talked about time cards, expense reports, how we talk about coworkers, and doing quality work even on tasks no one checks. Luke 16:10 hit home: “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much. "Your Workplace is Your Mission Field Several men shared how living with integrity opened doors for gospel conversations. When you refuse to gossip, when you admit mistakes, when you work “as for the Lord” Col 3:23, people notice. Challenge for the Week

We left with one action step: Pick one area at work where your integrity has been on autopilot, and submit it to Jesus this week. Whether it’s being fully present, speaking truthfully in meetings, or giving your best effort on the job nobody praises — do it for an audience of One.

God is building men of integrity at GTAG. “The integrity of the upright guides them” — Proverbs 11:3

A Fall meet in 2025

Venue : Warner Library, Tarrytown NY Discussion : Kyle Idelman's 'Not a Fan' Episode 1 We met in Warner Library in Tarrytown, NY on a saturday morning. had breakfast and chat. then we saw episode one of Kyle Idleman's 'Not a Fan' series.  this was followed by a group discussion on the difference between being a fan and follower of Christ. - Being a Fan is admiring a personality. being a follower is more than that. it demands how we think and act, as to how our day to day life decisions are determined. -  it is much harder to be a follower of Christ like, because in daily day to day grind, the demands of life gives Christ a place as a fan, not follow him all the moments. - Its a life long process, and spiritual growth, and we need holy spirits help to discern becoming a follower.  - Being a Fan can evoke a feel good moment. but Being a Follower is more than that and we aspire for a Feel right moment. February 7 2026: Forgiveness in Christ

Feb 7th was one of the coldest day this winter. We met at New city Library for our 1st men's ministry meeting this year. We saw the 2nd episode of "Not a Fan" series by Kyle Idleman. Gods love and forgiveness is far greater than the mistakes we make. so when we fail, running towards God is always a better option than Running away from God.
