Venue : Warner Library, Tarrytown NY Discussion : Kyle Idelman's 'Not a Fan' Episode 1 We met in Warner Library in Tarrytown, NY on a saturday morning. had breakfast and chat. then we saw episode one of Kyle Idleman's 'Not a Fan' series. this was followed by a group discussion on the difference between being a fan and follower of Christ. - Being a Fan is admiring a personality. being a follower is more than that. it demands how we think and act, as to how our day to day life decisions are determined. - it is much harder to be a follower of Christ like, because in daily day to day grind, the demands of life gives Christ a place as a fan, not follow him all the moments. - Its a life long process, and spiritual growth, and we need holy spirits help to discern becoming a follower. - Being a Fan can evoke a feel good moment. but Being a Follower is more than that and we aspire for a Feel right moment.
